Merry Christmas! O Holy Night Poem

O Holy Night, the stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior’s birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
‘Til He appeared and the soul felt His worth
A thrill of hope, the weary soul rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees! Oh hear the angel voices
O night divine! O night when Christ was born
O night, O Holy Night, O night divine.

For unto us this night is born a Savior
Humbling Himself, Word of God, Prince of Peace
Chains shall He break for He came to be our ransom
And in His name condemnation shall cease
Sweet Christmas hymns in grateful chorus raise we
Let all within us praise His holy name
Christ is our God! O praise His name forever!
O night divine! O night when Christ was born
O night, O Holy Night, O night divine.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Love,

Jennifer, Jason, Elowyn, Shadowfax, & Mr. Charles Bingley
